Lawyer Max Salvador, head of NBI National Capital Region, said Dalia Guerrero Pastor is now their target.
He, however, refused to give details on the suspected whereabouts of Dalia. He also declined to confirm whether Dalia is in the country or abroad.
Dalia is facing parricide charges and remains at large.
Pasay policeman Edgar Angel, the confessed gunman, pointed to De Guzman and Dalia as the masterminds in Pastor’s murder. However, he has recanted his statement.
Pastor was gunned down by motorcycle riding gunmen on June 12, 2014.
The family of Pastor issued a statement thanking the NBI for the big accomplishment. They also urged the agency for the capture Dalia to give justice to the Filipino car racer.
“It is our family’s fervent wish that the truth will come out and justice for our son can finally be done so that we can start to heal,” the family said in a statement through their lawyer Enrique Dela Cruz.
