For over a century, Lenox has been producing quality tabletop, giftware and collectibles, created by the skilled hands of North American artisans.
Last June 26, the brand officially opened the Lenox Boutique, a “shop-in-shop” located at the home floor of Rustan’s Makati. The launch became showcase of American heritage honoring Filipino bridal traditions, with beautifully styled vignettes that correspond to four occasions—the proposal, the pamamanhikan, the despedida de soltera, and finally, the wedding. Each stage featured equally elegant Lenox collections including Butterfly Meadow, Sapphire Plume, Garden Grove and French Lace.
Hosted by G Toengi, the metro’s most prominent names witnessed an evening of cocktails filled with sophistication and camaraderie. Welcoming the guests was Rustan’s Supercenters Inc. president and chief executive officer Donnie Tantoco who welcomed the guests with a warm speech on stage.
Joining him were Lenox Inc. Sales Directors Peter Cameron and Peter Greeley, Lenox Inc. vice president Jayson Score; and Rustan’s Home Merchandising Executive Vice President Marilen Tantoco.
The Philippine opening also marked the company’s 125th anniversary. Founded by Walter Scott Lenox in 1889, the brand has become synonymous with unrivaled artistry and superior craftsmanship, sealing its name as the leading purveyor of fine china, casual dinnerware, crystal stemware and 18/10 stainless flatware.
In celebration, Lenox is showcasing their best-sellers including their most popular bridal pattern, Opal Innocence, which has sold over 1 million place settings since 2002; and Butterfly Meadow, which features an elegant garden motif of butterflies and flowers.
Besides this, Filipinos can also experience the brand’s beautiful collection of home entertaining products that have graced the homes of discerning families around the world—all the way to the grand halls of the White House, where, in 1918, the brand became the first American China to be used in the presidential residence.
Lenox has produced state series for Roosevelt, Truman, Reagan, Clinton and Bush administrations, in addition to the vice presidential official residence, 400 embassies and more than half the governor mansions. Moreover, the company has been commissioned to design the inaugural gift of the American people to the incoming president for the past 20 years.
From beautiful beginnings to lasting lifetimes, Lenox promises to deliver unparalleled quality and sophisticated design with a strong American heritage to Filipino homes.
Lenox is exclusively available in Rustan’s Makati and Shangri-la Plaza.
