SAN FRANCISCO: A Denver Broncos’ team bus was involved in a minor traffic accident on Monday (Tuesday in Manila), which also involved a motorcycle police officer, the Broncos said in a news release.
The afternoon accident took place on Highway 101 as the team was returning to its hotel in Santa Clara, California.
A Broncos’ spokesman released a statement saying none of the passengers on the bus or the California Highway Patrol motorcycle were seriously hurt. No other details were available.
Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware tweeted, “To keep the day interesting, we have a small wreck. Looks like everyone is OK though.”
Denver is practicing at a nearby Stanford University facility for its Super Bowl 50 contest against the Carolina Panthers. The team had just concluded its workout prior to the crash.
