• Bulacan aims to get rid of child malnutrition

THE Province of Bulacan continues to conduct activities aimed at eradicating child malnutrition, including the validation and monitoring of plan implementation in all of the 18 towns. Gov. Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado said they are strictly monitoring the status of malnutrition in the province, particularly in children aged 0-75 months or those below 5 years old, and children of school age 6-12 years old. The weight validation for young recipients started last month in Calumpit, Bulakan, Guiguinto, Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Rafael, Marilao and Obando towns. It will continue this April in Pandi, Hagonoy, Bocaue, Paombong, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Balagtas, Norzagaray, Bustos, Baliwag and Angat.
