The National University (NU) Bulldogs will continue their campaign for a final four slot in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) football tournament when they battle the Adamson University (ADU) Soaring Falcons at the Moro Lorenzo Field in Quezon City at 4 p.m. today.
The Bulldogs, currently occupying the fifth spot of the rankings, are eyeing for a sweep of the series in their second round meeting with the Falcons.
NU holds a record of two wins, three draws, and two defeats while Adamson has a single win against six losses.
The Sampaloc-based booters opened their campaign this year with two consecutive wins before settling for a draw against defending champions Far Eastern University (FEU).
NU absorbed two straight losses from leading teams University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) before eliciting draws from their last two games.
Adamson had a dismal start this season, suffering three straight defeats before scoring their first win against the University of the East (UE).
Meanwhile, sixth seed Ateneo Blue Eagles will also begin their second round campaign when they clash with the UE Red Warriors at 2 p.m.
ADMU has three wins and four losses while the Red Warriors are still winless with only a draw against six losses.
