Businessman shot dead in Cavite


A BUSINESSMAN was shot to death on Wednesday by a group of men during a heated argument about the victim’s son in Bacoor City, Cavite. Provincial Police Director Joselito Esquivel Jr. identified the victim as Luisito Tuyo y Gaytan, 46, a resident of Blk. 11 Lot 12, Mandarin Subdivision in Barangay Bayanan. The suspects were identified as Joel Aguillon, 42, of Oriental Mindoro, Habib Guinar, Datula Guinar and Oraira Guinar of Blk 2 Lot 26 in Mandarin Subdivision. Two other suspects were at large. Russell Frayna Tuyo said her husband was in the garage of their house when Habib Guinar came asking about their son’s dispute with them that has reached the barangay council. The suspects confronted the victim and without provocation shot him at several times. Recovered from the crime scene were three pieces of used cartridge cases from a caliber 9 MM, two pieces of used cartridge cases from a caliber .40 and four pieces of empty bullet shells from another weapon.
