Butuan fire guts church, three houses

A woman in her early 30’s was killed after a fire gutted down three houses and a church on dawn Sunday in a suburban village in Butuan City, police reports said Monday.

Reports at the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame identified the lone fatality in the fire as Jodelyn Onita Quibol, 31.

The reports said that the fire incident occurred at around 4 a.m. on Sunday at Purok Magimbuhaton, Barangay Agusan Pequeño.

The fire started at a house owned by Dinna Onita Quibol, 53 and quickly spread to adjacent houses and the church of New Life in Christ Fellowship.
