SAN FRANCISCO: Apple’s website was swamped Friday (Saturday in Manila) in what appeared to be a record-setting buying binge fueled by smartphone buyers’ desire for large-screen iPhones.
Bigger did indeed seem to be better to the throngs who jockeyed in a virtual scrum to get access to the Apple website to order iPhone 6 and the larger-size iPhone 6 Plus models.
