BAGUIO CITY: Officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the local government here agreed to keep Loakan airport open to air traffic while efforts are being made to look for airline companies willing to fly to and from the Summer Capital.

Mayor Mauricio Domogan said he met with CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco last week in Pasay City and also agreed to address the problems on intrusions into some portion of the airport by some residents to the detriment of the security and safety of the facility.
