CAAP starts issuance of licenses to cabin crew


The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Friday released the licenses of the first batch of cabin crew pursuant to Republic Act 9497 and the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR).

The first batch of 22 cabin crew who were issued their licenses by CAAP are Katherine Salvanera, Lovelly Bonifacio, Grecco Martinez, Rowena Taloboc, Aielie Malazarte, Princess Lady Guevarra, Ann Kaira Fajardo, Hyacinth Lim, Rachael Dianne Calalo, Shiela Marie Manluco, Nicole Lucien Can-son, Rowena Joy Dimatulac, Jrysiel Marie Marquez, Cris Hannah Madula, Francis Adrian Sumulong, Mercy Malaluan, Antonio Villanueva, Erika Pangan, Canceran Mitzail, Ayes-sa Karia Eleda, Dayne Maree Clanor and Rheyciel Manalo.

Memorandum Circular 30-13 series of 2013 dated June 17, 2013, signed and approved by CAAP Director General William Hotchkiss orders all airline operators to require their crew to obtain licenses from the agency, so as to conform with PCAR.

The memorandum covers all the airline operators’ current crew members who have completed their annual recurrent courses from January to June 2013.

Validity period of the license is three years and will remain valid as long as the licensee holder maintains the required competence, and has a satisfactory report of medical fitness and holder of current Class 2 medical certificate.
