CAD conducts ASAP Desk orientation in Region 6

The PCSO Charity Assistance Department (CAD) conducted an ASAP Desk orientation with partner-hospitals in Region 7 on November 24 at Hotel Elizabeth in Cebu City.

With the continuing implementation of ASAP in partner-hospitals nationwide, PCSO aims to provide proper technical assistance to participants from Cebu, Bohol and Negros Oriental.

The PCSO Team was headed by CAD Manager Rubin Magno. Members included Dr. Kirsh Trine Ramos, Technical Assistant A of the Office of the Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector; Maricar Santos (SWO IV); Lilibeth Javier (SWO III); Vilma Tumampos, (Division Chief); Jovita Lavarias (SWO III); and representatives from the Special Projects Division (SPD) with Chief Muriel Pajarillo and Financial Officer III Ma. Lourdes Rayos.

The orientation provided clarification of the implementation of ASAP Desk program Delivery System followed by the Endowment Fund Program then the various SPD Programs. An open forum was provided where partner-hospitals inquired about the programs and gave their feedback.

The ASAP Desk orientation in Region 7 was the first of the scheduled three sessions. It was followed by a session in Bacolod on November 28 for partner-hospitals in Region 6. On December 14, a session in Cagayan de Oro will be conducted for the Mindanao partner-hospitals.


The partner-hospitals were thankful for the orientation and also shared interest in the other programs of PCSO headed by the Special Projects Division especially the Ambulance Donation Program and the request for Medical Equipment.

Prior to concluding the session, the participants requested to schedule a separate orientation on the other programs provided by the Charity Assistance Department.
