Camp Vicente Lim: New police recruits of Calabarzon, composed of 557 males and 140 females took their oath on July 4 at this camp after undergoing stringent recruitment process. The recruits were under the 1st Cycle of C.Y. 2016 PO1 Regular Recruitment Program where the PNP National Headquarters allotted the Calabarzon Police Regional Office a total of 700 quota. After the meticulous recruitment process which started in April of this year, only 697 were able to make it. PRO Calabarzon Regional Director Chief Supt. Valfrie Tabian administered the oath taking. Tabian emphasized the role of each police officer as public servant, sworn to uphold the PNP Core Values of being Makadiyos, Makabayan, Makatao at Makakalikasa; upholding the rule of law and with utmost respect for human rights. “Huwag ninyong sasayangin ang pagkakataong ibinigay sa inyo at lagi ninyong alalahanin na madami ang ipinatawag upang umanib, ngunit kayo ang pinalad na mahirang. Ang pagpupulis ay hindi pwedeng balewalain manapay dapat nating pagbutihin sapagkat tayo ay kasama na ngayon sa isa sa pinagkakatiwalaan ng mamayan na ahensya ng pamahalaan,” added Tabian.
