Caloocan residents get new houses

FIFTY of 262 marginalized families residing near waterways and other dangerous areas in Caloocan City have been awarded housing units by the city government. The Caloocan city government has awarded certificates of unit allocation to informal settlers from Barangays 160, 163 and 164, who were earlier identified by the Urban Poor Affairs Office to be living in hazardous, flood-prone areas along the Tullahan River. The housing units located in Barangay 175 Camarin are part of the medium rise housing project of the National Housing Authority (NHA).
