CamSur ‘sacadas’ benefit from DOLE’s goat dispersal

A total of 200 disadvantaged migratory sugar cane plantation workers or sacadas in Camarines Sur province were the beneficiaries of the P2-million goat dispersal project being initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol regional office in Legazpi City. The project is under the department’s Grassroots Participatory Budget Process (GPBP) for workers.  “We turned over last Jan. 20 a pair of hi-breed goats to each of the first 50 program beneficiaries in Pili, Camarines Sur,” Exequiel Ronie de Guzman, DOLE assistant regional director, on Saturday said.
