CAMSUR SCHOOL LOSES P300, 000 TO THIEVES

UNIDENTIFIED burglars took P300,000 in cash from the Alfelor Senior Memorial College in Del Gallego town, Camarines Sur. Reports at Camp Crame on Wednesday showed that school cashier Editha Obrero discovered the robbery when she reported to work on Monday morning. Probers said the burglars forcibly opened the padlock in the main entrance of the school and ransacked the cashier’s office between Sunday night and Monday morning. Aside from the cash, the robbers also took checks and bankbooks. Camarines Sur police recovered bankbooks, checks and the cash box at a ricefield where the burglars where believed to have escaped.
