A Canadian who stayed in the country for over a year, was held for questioning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport over the weekend. Jose Blumberger, 53, was about to leave when he was stopped by officials of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) from boarding a Japan Airlines flight after he was found with fake immigration stamp. BI officers said that Blumberger’s passport showed a questionable arrival stamp with a one-year stay dated December 27, 2012.
