MARIVELES: Two security guards of Government Arsenal were killed while two others were hurt when the car they were riding collided with an incoming oil tanker along the Roman Superhighway in Alas-Asin in this town on Tuesday morning.

Bataan Police Director Senior Supt. Flynn Dongbo identified the fatalities as driver Rayland Macapulay, 36, and Gerry Orilla, 50, of Government Arsenal, a bureau of the Department of National Defense, in Lamao, Limay, Bataan.

In critical condition at the Maheseco Hospital are Rachel Samong, 25, and Richard Pena–flor, of Limay town. Both were seated at the back of the car.

The oil tanker driven by Domingo Danozo, 59, of Mount View, Mariveles, damaged its front bumper.

“Sinalubong ako ng kotse na nakabangga ko. Nagulat ako kung bakit ako biglang sinalubong, kinuha linya ko,” said Danozo.

Danozo and his truck helper were not hurt.

“Umiwas ako kaya kinabig ko sa rampa ang sasakyan ko pero inabot pa rin kami ng kotse,” he added.

The oil tanker was bound for an oil terminal in Alas- Asin while the car was heading to Limay when the acci- dent happened.

Dongbo said the Mariveles police are probing the incident.
