Car dealer official to face unfair labor case

The president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Asia Resources Inc or HARI, the local distributor of Korean-made Hyundai cars, is facing unfair labor charges filed by a veteran employee of the company at the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC). The complainant, Rossana Espiritu-Caganap, filed a case of “constructive dismissal” which contains charges of illegal dismissal, harassment, and intimidation. Caganap, who has been with the company since 2001, said Agudo fired her without due process and even accused her of insubordination.
