SHANGHAI: A car driven by a man possibly suffering from mental illness rammed into a guardrail outside the US consulate in Shanghai, injuring a Chinese sentry, police said.
The driver, 35-year-old Liu Daojie from China's eastern Fujian province, was immediately taken into custody by authorities, a police statement said.
