INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation (IBF) light flyweight champion Johnriel Casimero will defend his belt against Mexican challenger Felipe Salguero on Saturday in the match dubbed “Laban ng Lahi: Tapatan ng Tapang” at the Makati Coliseum.
Casimero (18-2 win-loss slate with 10 knockouts) said that he is very excited to defend the title for the third time after beating Pedro Guevarra of Mexico via split decision in March, a win shortly followed by unanimous decision victory against Luis Alberto of Panama in October.
