At least 600 members of the Cavite Police, who helped in augmenting Papal security in Tacloban City last week, are given a 2-day break. Cavite Police Director Jonnel Estomo welcomed the troop back and congratulated them for a job well done aside from giving them a needed rest. The Papal visit in Tacloban was challenged by a signal 2 storm Amang, cutting Pope Francis’ visit short by about four hours. Estomo added that the Cavite policemen also helped in securing the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, the Manila Cathedral and the University of Sto. Tomas.
