BACOOR CITY: Around 5,000 joined a fun run on June 28 along Molino Boulevard. The event is part of the city’s campaign against illegal drugs billed as “Bacooreno Ayaw sa Droga”, a project initiated by Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla and local leaders in coordination with the Bacoor City Police led by chief Supt. Rommel Estolano. Revilla advised residents to “ stay away from illegal drugs because the effects of illegal drugs in our health might result to death”. He also wants Bacoor to become a drug-free city like Trece Martires. Estolona, on the other hand, noted that 80 percent of crimes in Bacoor were involved the use of illegal drugs like shabu, coccaine and marijuana.
