• Cavite holds rabies awareness symposium


    TRECE MARTIRES CITY: The Provincial Rabies Coordinating Council conducted a symposium on rabies awareness in six public elementary schools in the town of Naic on November 4 to 7. Students from Naic Central, Balsahan, Ibayo, Bucana Sasahan, Munting Mapino and Villa Apolonia benefitted from the symposium which discussed the viral disease transmitted by animal bite. The Department of Health set the year 2020 as its niche mark for a rabies-free Philippines, which is currently ranked sixth worldwide for most cases involving rabies.
