Cavite’s high value drug target slain


Bacoor City, Cavite: A suspected high value drug pusher – Christopher Martin – died in an encounter with the police during a buy bust operation in Martin Compound on Cuneta Road, Barangay San Nicolas 1 here on Wednesday night. City Police Chief, Supt Christopher Olazo, said the suspect belongs to the Navarro Drug Group and listed as one of Bacoor’s high-value target for illegal drugs. Similarly, a suspected drug pusher, identified only as Tyson, died while being brought to a hospital after he grabbed the gun of Senior Police Officer 1 Roberto Lacasa of Amadeo town police. Tyson was selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer when he sensed that he was dealing with an undercover that he drew his gun but was arrested. On the way to the station, the suspect allegedly grabbed the gun of Lacasa and grappled with it causing them to fall from the speeding patrol car. A pursuing police team shot the suspect who did not reach Ospital ng Tagaytay alive. Lacasa is confined at the intensive care unit of MB Santiago Hospital in Trece Martires City.
