Cavite’s top pusher was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents on March 17. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Ronald Toledo, alias Diego, 45, jobless and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Malabag, Silang, Cavite. Toledo was apprehended by elements of PDEA Regional Office 4A (PDEA RO4A) Calabarzon under Director Adzhar Albani at around 6:30 a.m. on the strength of a search warrant issued by Hon. Agripino Morga, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 32, San Pablo City, Laguna. Confiscated during the operation were five heat-sealed shabu plastic sachets and various drug paraphernalia. Toledo is temporarily under the custody of PDEA RO4A while the seized pieces of drug evidence were submitted to the PDEA RO4A Laboratory Office for examination. In Sultan Kudarat on the same day, operatives of PDEA Regional Office 12 Sultan Kudarat Province-Special Enforcement Group under Director Aileen Lovitos conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Grace Eliseo, 43, a resident of Ledesma Street, Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat; and Jonathan Morales, 45, a driver and resident of No. 35 General Luna Street, also in Tacurong City. Confiscated from them were sachets of shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
