CBCP welcomes ‘wise, very understanding, kind’ Justice dept ruling on Australian nun

THE Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) on Tuesday welcomed the decision of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to grant an Australian nun’s petition to cancel the Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) orders to forfeit her missionary visa and deport her within 30 days to be “wise”, “very understanding” and “kind.”

In an official statement, Davao City Archbishop Romulo Valles, CBCP president, said, “We appreciate the decision of our government authorities to keep the missionary visa of Sister Patricia Fox.”
