CDC, CLARK LOCATORS LAUNCH JOB FAIR FOR PWDS, IPS

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga: At least 38 persons with disabilities (PWDs) and indigenous peoples (IPs) in Central Luzon were hired on the spot in a job fair conducted Monday at the SM Clark event center here. The Clark Development Corporation (CDC), in collaboration with Clark Investors and Locators Association, launched the first of its kind job fair in the region to give opportunity for PWDs and IPs to uplift their lives. “We came up with this special kind of job to provide employment for the physically-challenged and indigenous people,” CDC President Arthur Tugade said. Some 466 applicants wherein 143 were PWDs and 323 were IPs trooped to the one-day job activity participated in by 37 business locators in this freeport.
