AT least two persons were killed after a fire of still unknown origin gutted the hall of justice in Cagayan de Oro City Friday night. In a report reaching the PNP national operation center in Camp Crame, a fire alarm was raised at around 7 p.m. Friday by a security guard. The fire was said to have started at the second floor and spread quickly through the tight-knit offices. Aside from the courts, the fire, which reached a general alarm, also gutted the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. Members of the of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) declared a fire out by 2 am of Saturday. At least P29-million of properties were reportedly destroyed.
