FOR allegedly pocketing P10,000, Mayor Efren Guntrano Gica of Dumanjug town in Cebu was dismissed over serious dishonesty and grave misconduct by the Office of the Ombudsman.
The Ombudsman also ordered the forfeiture of all benefits due to Gica, his perpetual disqualification from public office and cancellation of his civil service eligibilities.
