With eyebrows such a defining part of a woman’s face, it is but appropriate to have a day devoted to these pair of arches above the windows to the soul.
And so, quite cleverly—and beautifully—SM Beauty mounted its first ever “National Eyebrows Day” by launching a campaign focused on making the eyes more captivating in an afternoon of fun and informative makeup sessions. Dubbed “All Eyes On You,” the demos were led by top artist Xeng Zulueta and painter/illustrator Valerie Chua.
During the event, hosted by Bainca Valerio, Zulueta and Chua imparted tips and tricks on how to perfectly shape one’s eyebrows according to face shape. They also went a step further in showing how to nourish, enhance, and sculpt not only brows, but all the eyes as well
Specifically, Chua talked about matching perfect eye shadow colors: “Remember that eye shadow colors should complement the color of your eyes. It’s always best to go for the tinted colors, like magenta as it is more wearable and blending it will make it more naturally presentable.”
Zulueta, on the other hand, created four eye-catching holiday makeup looks: Sultry Neutral, Shadow Play, Pop of Colors, and Gold Sparkle, which can be achieved using the range of eye shadows, eyeliners, and mascaras at SM Beauty.
The brands which participated in the “All Eyes On You” event and National Eyebrow Day were L’Oreal, Ever Bilena, Bobbie Cosmetics, Catrice, Covergirl, Deborah, Elf, Essence, Flormar, Kanebo, Max Factor, Maybelline, Nichido, NYX, Revlon, and Shawill.
Meanwhile, shoppers who troop to SM Beauty for the rest of the month can avail of special discounts from the campaign, while prizes await those who upload their eye makeup looks with the hashtags #SMAllEyesOnYou and #SMEyeTransformed on Instagram.
