CITY Of SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: Central Luzon has now 11.22 million population, according to the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), which is higher by over a million than the 2010 census. Central Luzon is the third largest nationwide after Calabarzon and Metro Manila. Central Luzon Commission on Population (POPCOM) Director, Eleanor Cura said, migration is seen as one of the major causes in the increase of Central Luzon’s population, owing to the region’s proximity to Metro Manila.
