CEZA authorized to issue visa


SANTA ANA, Cagayan: The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has granted the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) to issue visas to foreigners. A Memorandum of Agreement was signed by the two agencies on September 10 which resulted in the promulgation and adoption of its implementing rules and regulations on October 13. The BI has recognized the authority of CEZA to receive and process applications and prescribe the supporting documents necessary for the granting of investor’s resident visa, working visa and dependent visa in accordance with Republic Act 7922, the law which created CEZA.
