Charity concert slated for Fallen 44

Bro. Eli Soriano of “Ang Dating Daan” has organized a charity concert to help the families of the Fallen 44.

The charity concert, “Songs for Heroes,” will take place today (March 19) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Soriano said the charity concert was organized to help raise funds for the families of the Fallen 44 and to support the government’s campaign for a peaceful resolution of the Mamasapano carnage.

The “Songs for Heroes” concert features leading music artists, including Noel Cabangon, Jonalyn Viray, Jay Durias, Gerald Santos, Faith Cuneta, Bo Cerrudo, Jason Fernandez, Jek Manuel, Shane Velasco, and Beverly Caimen.

The AFP and PNP chorale groups will also perform for their fallen comrades. According to them, this is their way to show they care for the grieving families of the SAF heroes.

UNTV, popularly known as the Public Service Channel headed by Daniel Razon, has partnered with Soriano to make this charity event possible.

“Let’s be part of the solution,” Razon said, echoing Soriano’s advocacy.
