Checks with stapler holes are good – clearing house

CHECKS bearing fold marks and stapler holes are good enough for banks to accept as long as the significant details are intact, the Philippine Clearing House Corp. (PCHC) said on Monday.

This development is in line with recently released memorandum on check handling under the new Check Image Clearing System or CICS, the clearing house said in a statement.
