LONDON: Chelsea and West Ham United have been fined £50,000 ($75,550, 70,670 euros) and £40,000 respectively after admitting misconduct charges over last month’s encounter at Upton Park, the Football Association announced on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila). Both clubs admitted to having failed to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during West Ham’s 2-1 Premier League win on October 24. Players from both sides harangued referee Jon Moss following a foul on Diafra Sakho by Nemanja Matic in the 44th minute that saw the Chelsea midfielder sent off.
