Chevron Philippines Inc. and Total Corporation have increased fuel prices effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.
In separate advisories Tuesday morning, the oil firms’ prices of gasoline went up by 20 centavos per liter while they also hiked diesel prices by 30 centavos per liter.
Chevron also said it increased price of kerosene by 25 centavos per liter while Total announced no movement in prices on this product.
Data of Department of Energy (DOE) shows that as of April 22, average price of diesel was posted at Php 45.05 per liter while gasoline was pegged at Php 54.05 per liter. PNA
