BEIJING: China will demand that live-streaming platforms “censor content before releasing it”, state media said on Friday, as authorities seek to tighten control over the fast-growing sector.
Rules released by the country’s internet regulator the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) will ban streams which “undermine national security, destabilize society”, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
