ASTANA, Kazakhstan: Chinese President Xi Jinping met his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana Thursday, pledging to further a partnership buoyed by agreements for billions of dollars of Chinese investment in the energy-rich Central Asian state.
