A CHINESE and his two Taiwanese companions were arrested on Wednesday in a remote village in Sual, Pangasinan for possession of several guns and ammunitions. Chief Supt. Roel Obusan, PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) director, identified the arrested as Shilian Wong Hou, Chinese, and Taiwanese Hou Zhinqiang and Tse-Yu Tai. They were nabbed by joint elements of CIDG-Pangasinan, Regional Special Operation Task Group, Provincial Public Safety Company and Pangasinan Provincial Police Office. Seized during the operation were one caliber .40 pistol, one calibre .38 revolver, three pieces of magazines for caliber .40 pistol, 108 pieces of empty shells and ammunitions. Shilian was suspected to be keeping a stash of firearms.
