• CHINOY YIELDS P78-M WORTH OF ‘SHABU’

    A suspected Chinese-Filipino pusher in his sixties who was arrested by elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation along Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Manila, on Wednesday yielded P78-million worth of shabu. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Antonio Uy, 62 years old, a businessman and resident of 732 Elcano Street, Binondo, Manila. The arrest came after a PDEA agent who posed as a buyer was able to hatch a transaction with Uy, to facilitate the sale of one kilogram of shabu. They agreed to meet in front of Ramon Magsaysay Tower, along the Service Road of Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Manila, at around 11:15 in the morning.
