CIDG BUSTS FAKE MONEY SYNDICATE IN ISABELA

THE Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on Wednesday busted a syndicate engaged in manufacturing fake money and arrested two during an operation in a remote village in Isabela. CIDG Director Benjamin Magalong identified the syndicate members as Richard and Erick Turaray. Confiscated were fake $100 (4 pcs. of $100 bill per sheet), 177 uncut sheets (3 pcs. of $100 bill per sheet), and nine uncut sheets (28 pcs. $100 bill per sheet), 897 pcs. (25 Iraqui dinar bill per sheet), 10 pcs. Yugoslavian bill, 2 pcs. Iraqi 25,000 dinars bill, 2 pcs. Brazil 5,000 bill, 2 pcs. Japanese ¥ 100 bill, 4 pcs. Japanese ¥ 10 bill and 6 pcs. $1M bill.
