CIDG NABS Gun-for-hire leader, village official


A leader of a gun-for-hire group and his henchman were arrested on Monday by operatives of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in their hideout in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. CIDG Chief, Director Victor Deona identified the suspects as Eddie Macabuhay and Jerwin Patrimonio, both of the Macabuhay hold-up and gun-for-hire group, and listed as Lambat Sibat priority target. Also, operatives arrested a Barangay Coordinator/Consultant identified as Eugene Crudo alias “Tatang” during an entrapment operation infront of Barangay Maybunga Hall in Pasig City. Crudo was caught in the act of receiving P3,000 marked money from a male complainant who claimed to be molested, sexually abused, and illegally detained by Crudo at the 2nd floor of the village hall at dawn of Palm Sunday.
