CIDG nabs two drug suspects, nine others in Pasig City


OPERATIVES of the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) have arrested suspects involved in illegal drugs and nine others during an operation in a village in Pasig City, a senior police official said on Wednesday. PNP-CIDG Chief Senior Supt. Victor Deona said elements of the Eastern Metro Manila CIDG launched an anti-drug operation on Tuesday at Ilang-Ilang Street, Villa Upeng, Barangay Caniogan in Pasig City that resulted to the arrest of two drug personalities and nine others. The CIDG chief said that a certain Alvin De Jesus and Maricel Giangan were arrested during the operation after selling two sachets of illegal drugs and receiving marked money from a poseur buyer during the operation. The others who were arrested in Pasig City were Arnulfo Valle, Carlo Camarce, Edward Candido, El Nabor, Sandy Pozon, Renato Delos Reyes and Edwin Hiyao who were all caught having a pot session inside the raided house.
