CinemaWorld is determined to end the year with a bang by offering a diverse selection of movies from across the globe to Asian television.
Premiered last week on the cable channel were the films Black Diamonds, a Spanish drama about African children trafficked to Europe to play football; and Swedish crime-thriller, Life Deluxe from best-selling author Jens Lapidus.
Tonight at 9, the winner of 2012 Warsaw International Film Festival’s Best Director and Best Fiction Feature Film awards, Imagine, will debut on Asian TV.
On December 22, Turkish film The Children of Diyarbakir will air to tell the story of a 10-year old girl, who together with her younger brother Firat and infant sister, witness how their parents are killed by paramilitary gunmen.
Finally, German drama Sources of Life premieres on December 29. Nominated at the recent German Film Awards for Best Makeup, Best Performance by a Supporting Actress and Outstanding Feature Film, it talks about veteran soldier Erich who returns home only to feel like a stranger in his own hometown.
