• Citadines now open in PH amid surging economy

With the Philippines expected to stay in the growth path in the years ahead, the Ascott Ltd. stands ready to grow with the country as it opens its new serviced residence: Citadines Salcedo Makati.

“We believe that the Philippine economy will continue to grow, leading to greater interest among both investors and tourists,” says Arthur Gindap, Ascott’s regional general manager for the Philippines and Thailand. “In light of this, it was easy for the brand to decide on expanding its operations in the Philippines to take advantage of the growing market segment of expatriates and business travellers who are expected to arrive and ride the country’s growth wave.”

Citadines Salcedo Makati offers residents a choice of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and access to a wide array of services, such as the state of the art
fitness center, the 25 meter lap pool overlooking the city, and the self-service launderette.

They can also relax in the beautifully designed lobby where original artworks of upcoming Filipino artists are found.

“Our properties stand out from other residential spaces as it gives business travellers a menu of options to choose specific lifestyle needs for a pleasant and unique staying experience,” says Gindap.

In addition to Citadines Salcedo Makati, the company is set to open Ascott BGC by the end of 2014 and Citadines Millennium Ortigas Manila in 2015. Currently, Ascott manages three properties in the Philippines—Ascott Makati, Somerset Millennium Makati and Somerset Olympia Makati.
