Filipino-American Jordan Clarkson who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association expressed alarm for his families and friends in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Lando.
“Typhoon Koppu [international name of Lando] swept into northern Philippines. As I learn more about typhoons, it is alarming to see the size and speed of Koppu,” the Lakers guard said via Twitter.
