Classes in some Central Luzon areas suspended

SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga:  As the southwest monsoon continues to dump more rains, some local officials in Central Luzon on Monday declared the suspension of classes.

Classes in all levels, both in public and private, in the province of Bataan were suspended as announced by Gov. Albert Garcia.

Localized suspension of classes, on the other hand, were declared in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, and Zambales.

Classes in all levels in Subic, Zambales were suspended as declared by Mayor Jay Khonghuan.


In Olongapo City, Mayor Rolen Paulino announced the suspension of classes in the pre-elementary to high school levels, both in public and private.

In Bulacan, the municipalities of Angat, Balagtas, Sta. Maria, Marilao, and Pulilan declared the suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private.

Classes suspensions in pre-elementary to high school levels, both in public and private, on the other hand, were declared in Plaridel, Bustos and Baliuag.

The municipality of San Miguel suspended classes in the pre-elementary to elementary levels, both in public and private.

In Pampanga, the municipality of Sto. Tomas declared the suspension in the pre-elementary to high school levels, both in public and private.

The University of the Assumption, also in Pampanga, declared the suspension of classes in all levels. PNA
