No classes in Metro Manila, Calabarzon


The Department of Education (DepEd) suspended classes in all levels today in five provinces in Region IV-A and in Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro.

It also cancelled classes in all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR or Metro Manila) as well as classes from preparatory to high school in Northern Palawan.

In its Facebook page, the DepEd said there will be no classes in the five Region IV-A provinces composing Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon).

In Metro Manila, classes will be suspended for the day in the cities of Muntinlupa, Marikina, Paranaque, Valenzuela, Navotas, Quezon, Mandaluyong, Taguig, Malabon, Pasay, Caloocan, Makati, San Juan, Manila and Pasig and in the municipality of Pateros.
