The world’s foremost diamond authority Tiffany & Co. aptly celebrated the 130th anniversary of the Tiffany Setting in the Philippines with a successful bridal event.
Titled “Will You?” the by-invitation affair was a collaboration of three luxury powerhouse brands – Tiffany & Co., Rustan’s, and Raffles Makati Hotel – where guests discovered Tiffany & Co.’s legacy and craftsmanship through the exquisite engagement jewelry on display, including the ultimate celebration of love, the Tiffany Setting.
Limited pieces of yellow diamond jewelry were on display during the affair, which were made exclusively available to Rustan’s until the end of the month.
“Tiffany & Co. is synonymous to luxury, glamorous jewels and romantic love, epitomized by the Tiffany Setting. Introduced by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1886, the Tiffany Setting is still the world’s most famous engagement ring today, and a symbol of our reputation for the most beautiful diamonds on earth,” said Erica Kerner, the jewelry company’s Asia-Pacific Vice-President for Marketing for Tiffany & Co. and event host.
“We are so pleased to showcase the scintillating Tiffany & Co. engagement jewelry in the Philippines and to play such an important role in the great love stories of couples here,” she added.
Representing Rustan’s, company president Donnie Tantoco said they were thrilled to host the event.
“Rustan’s opened the first Tiffany & Co. boutique in the country back in 1993, and has been a great addition to our luxury brand portfolio. Since then, we have introduced new ranges and made a big statement in gold. But today, we are very excited to finally offer what Tiffany is best known for in the world —the Solitaire Diamond Ring. To be part of the momentous celebration of the 130th year of the Tiffany Setting here in the Philippines is something we are very proud of,” he said.
To complete the Tiffany engagement experience, Raffles Makati rolled out the hotel’s premiere bridal packages help couples further create their dream weddings.
“Being in the hotel industry, I have been and continue to be given the privilege of witnessing the celebration of marriage. Here at the Raffles, we ensure that this milestone is carried out with care and understanding, which is why we are launching bridal packages that have been meticulously thought out and planned to create a memorable wedding,” concluded hotel managing director David Batchelor.
