Colts’ Jackson suspended four games for doping

LOS ANGELES: Indianapolis Colts linebacker D’Qwell Jackson has been suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. The NFL made the announcement Wednesday, and the suspension begins immediately for Jackson, who will be eligible to return to the active roster on January 2 — if the Colts qualify for the playoffs. The 6-6 Colts are locked in a three-way tie with the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans atop the AFC South division. In 12 games this season Jackson has posted a team-best 78 tackles, one sack and three pass deflections.
